Enough about the kitchen!!
Our contractor came in yesterday and put some of the finishing touches on the kitchen...anything else is up to us now. We're still planning a bay window with a window seat and some of the trim needs painting and the windows need coverings, but otherwise, we're there!

Holy cow! That looks gorgeous! I really like the floor — very swanky. And the whole open concept with the island leading gradually from kitchen to dining room is a great idea. You guys should be on one of those stupid interior design reality shows that people like to watch. You'd kick butt!
