Cookie Monster is obviously bowled over by this great news.
Winter camp?????? Does this involve sleeping in a tent or some freezing lodge?

Some of the older Beavers will spend the night in lodges, but Jason & Jack will just go up for the day/evening campfire.

That's great- have fun! And then maybe Dana and Hannah can go for a girly weekend to a spa!
He looks so cute! Did Hannah do Brownies? I can't remember...

She's in Brownies now for her first year, Brownie camp was in the fall, a much more normal time of year! They start with Sparks 5/6 year olds...never had that when we were little though. I was in Guides all the way along...way longer than normal!

All I remember about Brownies was that we had to wear brown and orange together- even at age 6 I thought that couldn't be right. No other memories exist, I must have been in shock.

I always liked the brown/orange combo. Reminded me of peanut butter and Cheez Whiz sandwiches!

Orange and brown were my school colours in grades one thru four!
"I'm so glad to be a Keatsway student...Orange and brown our colours flying freeeee!"
Ah, the seventies.

Jack looks sooo cute and proud! Well done, sweetie!

Ask Andrew about winter camps. But he was in Scouts by then.

I remember Lake Echo bottle drives and such. Send out a Scout and a Beaver together, door to door with Dad in the car, and you can sell ANYTHING.

Jack looks great!
