What's Going On.....

Okay since I haven’t blogged in a very long time here’s a quick update on things going on at the St. Louis’

Henry is healing & feeling fine, I can tell because he won’t stop talking and he jumped on me off the couch (said he was a lion)…

Dana is one busy woman…part time job on Main Street, own business and still doing plenty of weddings, and she made taco’s for dinner the other night!
She also rides her bike to work each day (not the weddings…)

Hannah is a big kid in grade five!
She rolls her eyes at me a lot lately (more than usual), so I will continue to embarrass her at every opportunity.

What’s the deal with Americans and their health care anyway? I don’t care what anyone says, I would pay more taxes to keep Canada’s health care system the way it is.

Jack will miss a day of school for hockey this week. He thought he was going to miss the month of October for hockey for some reason...

We still have 2 cats and 1 dog…

Went to Jack’s baseball championship game on the weekend, and was completely disgusted by some of the parents’ comments, oh...can’t wait for hockey to begin...i hear the parents are much more supportive and well behaved....

Dana woke me up the other night because I was talking in my sleep about stuff I needed to talk to her about when we were awake…money/work/kids…as long as we keep those lines of communication open.

Work is busy, life is busy, life is good.

Nice one. Thanks, Jason. Alison sometimes tells me stuff in her sleep, but it usually doesn't make any sense. What's Dana's part-time job?

My friend opened a shop on Main St. that sells these muscle strengthening/vibrating machines but you can also come in and use them like a gym...only 10 minutes = a one hour workout! I quit the gym and am hooked (which is good since I'm promoting them!) It's close by, I fill in the hours when kids are at school and a couple of evenings and I'm staying fit...oh yeah, and they pay me. It's win-win!

ooh, hop on that bike and bring some tacos to me please. Think how much more time you'd have in the day if you COULD conduct all your adult discussions/arrangements in your sleep.

Congrats Dana, glad you found something that fits into your life so well! Not only are you getting fit with the machines, but the daily bike rides, awesome!

I'm still searching for the job to fill in between shoots, don't want to have to resort to Strabuck's!

If you have any old tacos, don't throw them out. You are going to need them to hurl at the well-behaved parents at Jack's hockey games. Good luck with that.

I heard some of the baseball parent stories. Too bad, not very pleasant. I often wonder what kids are learning through these sports activities, and what some of the parents think they are learning.

The bike ride to work must be a killer (insert raucous laughter here). I must drop by for the 10 minute workout!

Hannah rolls her eyes at me too. And I bet Henry makes a great lion.
