Could this be true??

Hannah told me on the weekend that "when I turn 10, it means I am a pre-teen", I told her "No, no... you are just 10", she promptly told me "Daddy when you start double digits it means pre-teen!"

Have they moved everything up or something? Wasn't pre-teen when you were 12??
Why was this not in the brochure??

what does she think pre-teens do/get? That is quite scary!! After your story about the birthday party I have been having very disturbing dreams!!

Apparently in Markham you get limo rides and recording contracts...I'm glad I'm not the only one who found that party especially disturbing!

I was thinking Hannah's logic was pretty sound, but Shawn thought Jason's was more in line. He said something to the effect "Dad pays the bills, he gets to be right".
I won't even start on the sexist nature of the remark. But if you're grasping at straws, maybe it will make you feel better.

Actually, pre teen means anything before the teens. Tell Hannah that Jack and Henry are already pre-teens. That will freak her out.

10 is 10 to me. But what do I know? I certainly didn't feel like a pre-teen at 10. But maybe at 11. Those years went by so slowly in my memory.

Is a tween the same thing as pre-teen?
