Rainy day...
There's something about rainy days that I just love. They make me all maternal & cozy. They also somehow give me an excuse to be lazy. Henry & I spent the morning watching Sesame Street & Teletubbies and playing musical instruments and farm. I don't know why I need an excuse to play with my kids since that's why I stay home, but there always seems to be other stuff to do and I occassionally need a rainy day to play.
Last night we had Mike and Eri (and Bennett) over for dinner for Mike's birthday and later Mom & Dad came by for a short visit. It's nice to live close enough to my family for drop-in visits and I feel sorry that we can't do the same with Jason's family. -

Oh my god Henry looks like a little duck in that outfit! How adorable. Glad you're having a nice relaxing rainy day. You deserve it. The amount you do with those kids makes me exhausted just thinking about.
